CUnet slave IC, DI Filter function, 32DIN/DOUT

The MKY44-IO32A is a CUnet station (hereafter "slave") IC with intelligent DI/O control function.
The MKY44-IO32A has the two modes of "DIO Mode" and "PWM & Up/Down Counter Mode". Switching between the modes is achieved through hardware pin settings.

Because a CUnet network allows multiple-master configurations, the slave must specify the CUnet IC to be its master to output DO.
The MKY44-IO32A's DOSA (Data Output Station Address) pin is used to specify the address of the CUnet ICs to be its master. When this is done, the MKY44-IO32A outputs the control data written to the memory of the specified master.
Input data (DI) is automatically input to the MKY44-IO32A's own memory and automatically copied to all CUnet ICs through CUnet communication (memory sharing).
Existing users of CUnet can get filtered DI without load on the CPU just by adding this product to their networks in "DIO Mode".
In addition, "PWM, UP/DOWN Counter Mode" provides an easy method for counter input and PWM output control.
New users have the opportunity for easy, intelligent DIO control without load on the CPU.
