The MKY44-MC02A is a CUnet slave IC with two-axis motion control. |
Its motor control abilities include not only turning spinning on and off, but also acceleration/deceleration control and positioning control.
You can specify speed in units of 1 pps. The MKY44-MC02A can also store 32 operation patterns to "pattern memories." The patterns combine acceleration/deceleration parameters, travel distances, and target coordinates. This function makes it simpler than ever before to execute pattern operation control from a master.
For GPIO, the MKY44-MC02A has 4 bits of DO and 4 bits of DI for each axis. This eliminates the need to prepare a separate GPIO unit as was formerly required for connection with a motor driver.
Existing users of CUnet can get easy positioning control just by adding this product to their networks.
New users have the opportunity for easy distribution and decentralized control with slaves, by networking the positioning controllers that used to each be connected separately to the master.
